Valentina Zaytseva Head of School  | | After a few years in international business consulting, Valentina is focusing on education management. A graduate of Moscow State University in Russia and Tufts University in the USA, Valentina is also trained by Association of Montessori Teachers of Russia to work with children between 0 and 6 years of age. Before starting the school, Valentina travelled to the United States to visit schools accredited by Association Montessori Internationale and American Montessori Society. Joanne King Curriculum Director, Casa dei Bambini Directress
 | | Joanne has a strong background in international Montessori education. A British citizen, she has lived in Thailand, Japan and India. Joanne has solid experience of working in multicultural classrooms and knows how to work effectively with children whose native language is not English. With 12 years of teaching experience, Joanne holds a 3-6 and a 6-12 diplomas from Association Montessori Internationale and a 0-3 diploma from North American Montessori Centre. This unique qualification is a true asset to our school. |
Eleonora Galyuk Lead Teacher, Toddler Community
 | | Eleonora has studied in Russia, United States and Japan. In addition to her native Russian skills, she speaks fluent English and Japanese. Before her emloyment with us, Eleonora was working at an international school and in a few international businesses. When Eleonora joined Montessori School of Moscow she worked closely with Joanne King to get her on-the-job training. Eleonora leads our Toddler Community and actively participates in our work with infants. She was specifically recommended by Susan Stephenson to take an AMI 0-3 course and is now enrolled. |
Jeyla Shikhlinskaya Parent Infant Class Guide
 | | Jeyla is a certified child and family psychologist and holds a Master's degree from Webster University in Austria. Before her relocation to Moscow Jeyla was working as a school psychologist with an international school in Switzerland where she assisted families ithrough a variety of challenges. She now has her private counseling practice in Moscow. Jeyla leads our Parent Infant Class and assists us as our School Psychologist when necessary. |
Nina Mishanina Casa dei Bambini Assistant  | | Nina has diverse professional experience and two university diplomas, one of those in Psychology. She is currently getting her training at the 3-6 course at Moscow Montessori center associated with AMI. Nina introduces the Russian language to all of the children in class and also guides them through all aspects of the Russian culture. |
Alexandra Pokusaeva School Assistant  | | Alexandra holdes a degree in Psychology from Moscow State University and is now pursuing her studies further in the Master's program. Alexandra assists all teachers daily with school and park activities and is also substituting for classroom assistants when required. |
Yulia Titova Assistant, Toddler Community
 | | Yulia supports Eleonorain her work with toddlers and helps with older children at lunch and park time. |
Yana Knignitskaya Assistant, Cooking Club Guide
 | | Yana is a graduate of Higher School of Economics. In addition to her native Russian and fluent English skills, she also speaks Ukrainian. Apart from her overall support of our community, Yana leads our Cooking Club. |
