Our school's curriculum is based on the educational principles elaborated by Maria Montessori in early 1900s. We rely on recommendations set by Association Montessori Internationale. Before opening our school, we have visited Montessori schools in other countries and connected with professionals worldwide to study best practices available. We are dedicated to continued integration into the international community of Montessorians. To ensure that, we hire international staff and stay visible outside of Russia. Besides that, it is very important for us to keep our fees at a moderate level to ensure accessibility of our programs to as many families as possible. |

Montessori School of Moscow utilizes the philosophy, methods and materials developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. "A child’s work,” Dr. Montessori wrote, “is to create the man he will become. An adult works to perfect his environment, but a child works to perfect himself.” Through their work in a thoroughly prepared environment, children develop concentration, motivation, independence, persistence, and discipline. Within this framework of order, children progress at their own pace and rhythm, according to their individual capabilities, during the crucial years of development.
